General Sherman tree is one of the highest trees in the world. this type of
Giant Sequoia has reached a height of 83.8 metres (275 ft). The tree is named "

General Sherman Tree is located in
Sequoia National Park in Visalia, California. This name taken from the name of a veteran of the
American Civil War General William Tecumseh Sherman. James Wolverton, a lieutenant in the 9th
